The second half of Season 3 of the American supernatural drama TV series “The Originals” will return to The CW on January 29 and based on the episode 10 promo trailer and synopsis, Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, and Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, will be going on a killing spree to avenge the death of Cami, played by Leah Pipes, during the fall finale episode aired on December 10.
The fall finale episode of “The Originals” on The CW was high on gruesome moments that left fans and viewers either distraught or dismayed.
For those who have been hoping for a Holiday festive mood on “The Originals,” they wished wrong as episode 9 of “The Originals” became the world’s worst Christmas celebration ever.
However, the most cringe-worthy and tear-jerking scenes of the midseason finale came when Cami and Klaus found themselves under the mistletoe.
It was a feel-good moment for the fans, particularly the shippers of ‘Klamille,’ but it was to be very short-lived.
Taking heed of the advice of Rebekah, played by Claire Holt, Klaus decided to reveal his vulnerable side to Cami.
A gruesome death
He was telling her that what makes her happy makes him want to keep her so and what scares her is what he wants to tear apart because he does not wish to watch her from behind a glass. He then kissed her and they both fell asleep while his arm was wrapped around Cami.
Klaus’ statement seems to have come true when he woke up from his slumber only to find blood on his hands and it was Cami’s blood. He discovered that Cami’s throat has been slashed in the middle of the night.
It was a disaster alright particularly for Klaus but fans and critics alike are saying that it is not going to be the end for Cami and ‘Klamille’ because it is quite impossible to see Klaus just burying Cami and moving on with his life.
He has the option to go to Vincent, played by Yusuf Gatewood, for a quickie revival spell or it is also possible that Cami could have died with a vampire blood on her system so it is likely that it is not the end for her and her supposed death in the fall finale only gave fans of “The Originals” a major plot to watch out for when the TV series returns to The CW on January 29.
Avenging Cami
Episode 10 will see the Mikaelson brothers going on a rampage to avenge Cami’s death because they believe that their enemies must be punished for the attacks designed to kill people they love, reports the Christian Today.
The trailer showed Klaus telling Elijah that they must retaliate swiftly and in such a brutal matter so that their enemies will have no time to process what happened to them.
Elijah was then seen going on a mad killing spree, staking several vampires in such a manner that they died without knowing what hit them.
Klaus knows that the death of Cami is caused by Aurora, played by Rebecca Breeds, after she slit Cami’s throat and left her to bleed, so he sets his sights on killing her.
Entitled “Savior,” episode 9 of “The Originals” also featured Freya, played by Riley Voelkel, searching for a way to reverse the crippling curse even as she found herself as the target of The Strix’s latest plan, notes Celeb Dirty Laundry.
The episode started with Rebekah Mikaelson talking about getting daggered is just like a dreamless sleep. She said that it is different and that it is an agony of thirst. But it turned out, Aya’s dagger was cursed and it left Bex with an ever-expanding mark on her arm that would eventually drive her completely insane.
