This means that the danger does not only concern the Mikaelsons but all vampires in existence as they all began from their sire line. Narducci adds that foes are going to put aside their angst to find a way to hijack this prophecy.
If given much thought, a plan to put an end to this prophecy sounds like something Klaus would ask Damon, Stefan, and the whole Mystic Falls gang for, especially now that they also need some help with Heretics plaguing their town. This actually seems like a plausible storyline for a crossover episode.
