Hulu have already been streaming previous episodes of the show, and it seems to be enjoying good popularity with the service’s own fans, so the new season should definitely have a strong potential when it’s released. Hulu won’t even have to do much other than make sure that the most important characteristics of the show are preserved, such as its original approach to its character development.
Mindy Kaling herself has apparently been very pleased with the situation, happy that her show has found a new home and will resume its airing. She seemed excited for the future as well, so we can only assume that she’s open to continuing the show beyond season 4 if the opportunity presents itself.
Until then, we’re waiting for Hulu to announce the official release date for season 4, as the network is still keeping quiet about that. We’re not sure if the season will be ready before the end of this year, but that doesn’t seem very likely given that it’s supposed to have 26 episodes.
