The Mindy Project Season 4 Is Saved: Now What Are the Details of the Upcoming Episodes?

We recently got exciting news about “The Mindy Project” – after it was initially announced that the show had been cancelled, it was revealed that Hulu have decided to take it on for its fourth season, saving it much to the pleasure of all of its fans. As can be expected, discussions about the situation have already been running very actively online, and everyone is eager to find out how the production is going to be extended.

What we know so far: it’s been renewed for 26 new episodes, and it’s even possible that we might see it running beyond that as well, as so far there is a good indication that Hulu are actually quite interested in the production. We don’t know if they’re planning to change a lot for season 4 though, as even though it would be great if Hulu preserved the show’s original style in its fullest, they could also change the premise quite a bit and still keep it successful.

“The Mindy Project” already shares a lot of its fan base with various Hulu productions in the first place, so it would be a good addition to the network. Many of the network’s regular viewers are already familiar with Mindy and would likely be glad to see her introduced to the network’s list of shows, so that seems to be a smart move as a whole, all things considered.

The show has certainly come a long way since its original inception, after it was first produced as an NBC comedy, but then it got handed off to FOX as NBC turned out to be rather uninterested in it after all. There were some apparent issues with the holders of the rights to the production as well, and this led to some confusion in the community of the show’s fans.

However, now that the dust has settled, it seems like all questions have been cleared up and the show is greenlit to be brought back to the screen. Hopefully we aren’t going to hear about NBC causing any problems with the production behind the scenes, even though we don’t really have much of a reason to expect that.

As we said above, the current deal with Hulu is open for even more development in the future, but we will have to see how the current season fares with viewers first. It’s possible that Hulu might decide that they’re not satisfied with the current ratings and cancel the production, but that’s not very likely, given its past viewing trends.
