The NES has been around for a little more than 30 years in the market. But next year, the gaming console will also mark its 30th anniversary from the time that it officially arrived in the US.
Meanwhile, some critics believe that there is still a good chance that “The Legend of Zelda on Wii U will be released this year.
Accordingly, the website of Walmart recently posted a listing for “Zelda 2” on Wii U. There is no such game as “Zelda 2” so it is assumed that the retail giant was referring to “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U. The same listing actually indicated that the game will become available on October 1.
Some critics thought that October 1 was the release date of the game in the US, but the day has come and gone and there is still no “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U at all.
But the site still insists that the game could be released in November because apparently the Japanese gaming company has a history of releasing games on Sundays.
However, instead of the “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U, Nintendo has set the release date on its older game “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” on Wii U very soon.
Seems a shame Nintendo didnt learn from the Skyward Sword experience. That took way too long to come out, on a platform that was well past its prime (Wii). I fell in love with the Zelda series around 1985 when I first started playing it but found that by the time S-Sword came out it felt really dated and lackluster compared to other rpg’s on the market at the time. Sadly I have not gone back to Zelda since, and reading this does nothing to make me want to. Lift your game Nintendo!
I can’t believe this. If Nintendo decides to hold the game for nx and wii u I’m going to be so upset. Just let us play the game when it’s done. The people who want it on the nx will still buy it. I don’t get their logic. And this is ridiculous.
