It is almost sure that those pronouncements have excited widely-anticipating fans of “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U which is in direct contrast to what they were feeling when previous reports said that the game has been put on the backburner.
It was widely rumored that the delay in the release date of “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U is because of its ambitious content that Nintendo wants the game to have.
There are now reports saying that the recently re-released “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” is actually linked to “The Legend of Zelda” game on Wii U.
Whether the upcoming game is going to be the prequel or the sequel to the former, Nintendo has yet to confirm.
The notion comes from “The Legend of Zelda” content creator Commonwealth realm, a fan website. With the help from Macintyre and Zeltik, Commonwealth dug deep into the lore behind the games.
He actually came up with two possible theories, one where “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U is a prequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” and one where it is a sequel to the latter. Both his arguments and reasoning are plausible.
In fact, if the upcoming game is going to be a prequel to “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess,” it is going to bridge the gap between “Ocarina of Time” and “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” which is what Aonuma has hinted.
