‘The Legend of Zelda’ on Wii U to Become the First in the Game Series to Sport an HD Graphics!

The development of the action-adventure video game “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U is now on its finishing phase according to series producer Eiji Aonuma. But the bigger news is that when it finally comes out on Wii U, it will be the first in “The Legend of Zelda” game series to feature HD graphics, reports News Every Day.

Fans and gamers have been waiting for “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U since game developer Nintendo announced it during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2013. The following year at the E3 2014, the Japanese game developer stated that the game will be released for the Nintendo gaming console in 2015.

But the entire 2015 has come and gone and there was no “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U. However, towards the latter part of last year, it seems imminent that the game would finally come out this year, with early 2017 release being the latest it could come out on the gaming console.

Aonuma was asked about the status of the game and he explained that when they did “Skyward Sword” for the Wii U, he was in charge of the characters’ dialogue and the in-game text. He said that he is now doing the same thing for “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U, alluding that the game is about to be completed.

A female Link Avatar

There are rumors going around that the developers might integrate a female Link Avatar into the game. However, critics are thinking that fans may not welcome the change.

In addition to the female Link, there are also reports saying that there will also be a male Link that will be present in the game and both of these characters will mostly likely present the same set of powers and abilities.

What this means is that regardless of what link a gamer chooses, it won’t affect the gameplay.

There are also reports saying that the game will also feature voice acting but Nintendo refuses to validate whether the information is accurate or not. Apparently, voice acting will be applicable for several game characters, except the lead character who will remain silent throughout the game.

Imminent release this year

While Nintendo has yet to make an official announcement or statement regarding the planned exclusive release of “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U, it seems imminent that the highly-anticipated game shall come out this year, if not early next year.

“The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U will actually feature gender-neutral character avatars, notes the Christian Times.

As if to appease the fans and gamers for their long wait for the release of “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U, Aonuma also stated that the game will have something new to offer when it comes out.

He said that it will be similar to “Ocarina of Time,” confident that they will give fans a really great game that will be worth all the wait.

In January this year, there were reports that came out saying that the “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U is unlikely to be released this year because a new game called “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” will be released instead on the Nintendo gaming console.

It was widely speculated that the earliest that “The Legend of Zelda” could come out on Wii U is in 2017.

However, it seems that there is a new development that was recently revealed by Nintendo officials who hinted that “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U will actually come out this year.

Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed in a recent interview that “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U is part of the 2016 roster, despite not being showcased in last year’s E3 2015.

Subsequently, Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime reiterated the statement made by Miyamoto that the game will indeed come out this year.
