Aonuma adds that he was the one in charge of the character dialogues and in-game text for the upcoming installment in the “The Legend of Zelda” series. He recalled doing the same thing for 2011’s “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.”
Aonuma couldn’t say when the game will be released nor could he confirm that the game will be released along with the NX and if the game will be available for the latest gaming platforms as well.
Kotaku reports that the newest “The Legend of Zelda” game on the NX will be an open-world action game and might not have the puzzles players expect it to have.
The upcoming installment to the fantasy action game was revealed way back in 2013 when the Japanese game developer announced that an unnamed Zelda title is being planned for the Wii U gaming console.
The game was officially teased on 2014’s E3 event and was scheduled to be released by 2015. However, Aonuma announced that the game’s release date was pushed back to 2016, that caused disappointment to a lot of gamers.
“The Legend of Zelda” is one of Nintendo’s most prominent franchise since its original release in 1986.
The company is set to re-launch “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD” for Wii U in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the franchise. Last month, Nintendo released a second 3DS remake, “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.”
