The Legend of Zelda for Wii U Delayed to 2016, Multi-Platform Release Hinted!

Apart from this news about the current delay, we’ve been hearing some pretty good things about the next “Zelda” game in general. It looks like Nintendo are putting a lot of effort into it and know what they’re doing, and they also know what their fans are looking for.

The game is expected to breathe some fresh air into the life of the Wii U, a console that has been a bit underappreciated since its initial launch. While gamers were expecting it to get a lot of attention, it ended up performing a bit more poorly than initially anticipated.

Some were claiming that Nintendo were too late to the party and didn’t market properly, but according to others, the problem could be elsewhere – it might be more closely related to the console’s lack of exclusive titles.

While it’s true that it has the special factor of being the best “party console” around, it still doesn’t have enough titles to entice many gamers to buy it, and Nintendo have been struggling to attract more people. With releases of new titles like the latest “Legend of Zelda”, we expect this trend to show some change and possibly even reverse given enough time. If not, it would definitely be sad to see a console with so much potential going to waste.
