Previous rumors have claimed that “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” may launch in March alongside the Switch. However, conflicting claims have suggested the game won’t be a Switch launch title, but a new “Mario” game could be.
Another game that will be showcased at The Game Awards is Bethesda’s “Prey,” which will have its worldwide debut of new gameplay. Prey is billed as a sci-fi psychological thriller.
Nintendo has announced that “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” shall be coming to the Wii U and its latest gaming platform called the Switch.
Interestingly, there have been details about the Old Man that could provide a hint to “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” story.
During the demo at the E3 2016 held in June where the Old Man was standing in one spot, there is a new build of the game which shows him sitting at a cooking location and chopping wood near the Woodman’s cabin.
The Old Man is also seen leaving a journal entry inside the cabin which reads ‘on the plateau that people don’t come near, my one and only fun is cooking.’
What this means is that “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will feature the same object-based storytelling made popular by recent video game titles including “BioShock” and “Gone Home.”
