Last year, voice actor Nolan North also revealed that the game developer has already been brainstorming on “The Last of Us 2.”
Subsequently, there were two other teases from people possibly involved in the development of “The Last of Us 2” to indicate that Naughty Dog is already in the thick of development for the game.
In a live stream session for “Uncharted 4” a few months ago, Naughty Dog’s Josh Scherr inadvertently mentioned “The Last of Us” sequel from out of the blue.
He was quoted as saying during the live stream session that all the facial animation in the “Uncharted” series was led by Eric who is also part of the first “The Last of Us.” Subsequently, Scherr corrected himself by saying that he just mentioned the first “The Last of Us,” as if to allude that what he meant was the second game in “The Last of Us” series which ultimately means “The Last of Us 2.”
In another incident, a leaked Linked In profile picture of developer Michael Knowland showed “The Last of Us” picture. He said that he spent the whole month prototyping the head sculpts of the sequel, which was again a clear reference to “The Last of Us 2.”
