She says that when she became a mom, her priority is now her kids and she doesn’t want her kids to grow up with fear for their lives because of how feeble the gun control in America is.
Earlier this week, Kim’s husband, Kanye West railed against violence in the U.S during a radio interview with BBC Radio 1.
The 39-year-old rapper said that the world is now numb because death by gun is starting to become the new normal. West went on to explain that 500 kids are killed in Chicago a year because of guns.
Kim’s activism became evident last year after the death of Sandra Bland in Texas. Kardashian joined many BLM activists demanding answers about what really happened to Bland, who was said to hang herself in jail after a traffic stop.
Kim, along with Kourtney and Khloe has also voiced their commemoration for the Armenian genocide’s 100th year last year. The family has a connection to Armenia mostly because of their late father, Robert Kardashian.
With the Kardashians latest lunch date, fans have noted that it was nice seeing their family make headlines for something that creates a massive impact in many people’s lives.
Others have noted that the reality family should use their influence on touching pressing matters more often.

“increasing number of black Americans being killed because of racism and hate crimes” Well, that ain’t the main contributor by a long shot, as it were.
According to FBI stats, 50% of murders in America are black-on-black, with blacks 13% of the population. And according to HuffPo, the murder rate for Hispanics is twice that of non-black/Hispanic, with Hispanics 17% of the population.
The math is simple. With an overall homicide rate of 4.7 per 100K that works out to the following rates: Black 18; Hispanic 4.5; Non-black/Hispanic 2.2; Homicide rate in the UK? 1.2!
