Collins also added that what they want is to make the audience feel that five minutes after coming into the movie, the people will say that they are back with these people and that they have missed them a lot. She added that just like most of them in Disney Pixar, that is where they want to start from. They simply want the audience to feel that they are happy seeing familiar characters back on the screen.
It was Disney CEO Robert Iger who made the announcement in March last year that “The Incredibles 2” is a go and that writer and director Brad Bird shall take on the same role he took for “The Incredibles” in the upcoming sequel. From there, the director has set things in motion.
Bird also made the announcement late last year that award-winning composer Michael Giacchino will return for the sequel to the hit animated movie shown way back in 2004. He also announced that Samuel L. Jackson will return for the character Frozone, a superhero friend of the Parr family.
As far as plotline goes, previous reports have been fairly consistent that villain Syndrome will return and that he will come back to become the mentor of Jack-Jack. Syndrome shall reportedly nurture the shape-shifting powers of Jack-Jack and turn him against his family including Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, and Dash.
