The Incredibles 2 Plotline to Revolve Around Jack-Jack Transforming into a Villain!

By the time that “The Incredibles 2” hit the theaters in 2019, 15 years would have passed since the original film came out on theaters. That is actually even longer than the 12-year gap between “Monsters” and “Monsters University,” both of which are a collaboration of Disney and Pixar.

Disney also confirmed the return of Director Brad Bird to helm the upcoming sequel of the 2004 box-office animated hit. Bird also disclosed that he is about 75% through in writing the script for “The Incredibles 2.”

Bird stated that he has the story arc and he has been trying to keep it focused like the first film, which was a little bit more about characters and relationships and they will take it from there.

It will be Bird’s first animated film since “Ratatouille” shown in 2007. He has spent the last years working on movies like “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” the fourth film of the franchise, and “Tomorrowland.”

In a previous interview, Bird said that despite the booming state of superhero movies based on comic books, “The Incredibles 2” will be different from the current crop because it will have one aspect that shall make it special and that is the element of family.
