Most of the eyes of movie viewers of “Fast & Furious 7” were centered on Paul Walker, dissecting which of the scenes where he is are real and which are not.
In addition to Paul Walker, astute movie fans also have their eyes on the Lykan HyperSport that was driven by Dominic Torreto, played by Vin Diesel, which eventually became the hero car of the movie.
The producers of “Fast & Furious 7” were looking for a car that was unique and different and the Lykan HyperSport did not disappoint, notes GTspirit.com.
The Lykan HyperSport is so special that it is so rare, exclusive, and unique. It is also the first United Arab Emirates-based Supercar, the filmmakers claimed.
First showcased during the Dubai Motor Show in November 2013, the Lykan HyperSport was recently put on display at the Shanghai Auto Show 2015 and had an estimated cost of $3.4 million.
Under the helm of Torreto, the car scrapped through the Etihad Towers in what was a breathtaking sight.
Seven models
Manufactured by W Motors, the Dubai-based developer and manufacturer of high-performance cars, the Lykan HyperSport will be produced in only seven models.
It is also highly unlikely for the company to introduce a new model soon enough considering the attention that their prized creation has gotten worldwide after it was featured on “Fast & Furious 7.”
According to Ralph R. Debbas, Chairman and CEO of W Motors Company, they are greatly honored that one of their key products, the Lykan HyperSport, was given the opportunity to be featured in the Hollywood blockbuster movie “Fast & Furious 7.”
Debbas added that the film also served as the company’s tribute to the late Paul Walker. He also said that the whole adventure on “Fast & Furious 7” has been thrilling from the start and that W Motors definitely gained tremendous exposure and international recognition for it.
A sportscar
The Lykan HyperSport is a mid-rear engined sportscar that is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine which was basically derived from the Porsche tuner RAF.
In addition to having a superb and powerful engine that goes well with its exquisite exterior aura, the Lykan HyperSport is also laden with captivating features including LED headlights, an interactive ID4 Motion dashboard, and an exclusive watch specifically designed by Frank Muller Geneva.
