The producers should definitely maintain their work quality until the end if they want “The Good Wife” to have a real shot at a next season. The show still has a lot of potential left, and it should not be very hard to realize it given the large fan base it already has.
Meanwhile, Michelle and Robert King reportedly already have their sights on another production and they are preparing for the transition. Their new show, titled “BrainDead”, is also headed to CBS and some people are excitedly talking about it, although that seems to be largely because of the showrunners’ involvement.
We expect that things will get a bit quiet on the news front around “The Good Wife” for a while now, at least until the dust settles. A lot is about to happen and those transitions will not be easy to communicate to the fans on an ongoing basis.
Hopefully the producers of the show know what they are doing and they have already planned ahead properly. It would be a shame to see a show like “The Good Wife” fading into obscurity due to a lack of interest from the people responsible for it, especially when there is still so much excitement about the production all throughout its community.
