‘The Following’ Actor James Purefoy Also Had Plenty on its Plate Even if the Show was not Renewed for Season 4!

Although, not a big-budget movie, “Cop Car” is better in a lot of ways that Kevin Bacon’s new horror movie called “The Darkness.”

Critics think that “Cop Car” is so superior to “The Darkness” that viewers are better off watching the thriller film than the horror movie.

While “The Darkness” is being directed by Greg McLean, who chalked up a good horror film entitled “Wolf Creek” not too long ago, his abilities in his previous horror movie seem to have departed him in “The Darkness” because it can no longer be found at all in the new Kevin Bacon starrer.

Kevin Bacon was once again taken in as an FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers to star in the Boston Marathon bombing movie “Patriots Day,” which was confirmed by producers CBS Films and Lionsgate Films last March.

The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, Michelle Monaghan, J.K. Simmons, and Bacon. It is to be directed by Peter Berg from a script by Matt Charman.

“Patriots Day” is scheduled to hit global theaters on December 21, 2016 and follows the events leading up to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and its aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists behind the grisly massacre.
