Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg hints during a recent interview that there is a possibility that Barry would find it difficult to get out of the different timeline as he continuously focuses on altering the future events to save Iris.
Kreisberg also added that Barry and his friends will eventually have an idea on how to do it. While they are likely to learn about what the future holds for them, listing the things that will occur would also help them to prevent some things from happening.
