In the very last episode of “The Flash” Season 3, Barry Allen and his friends have come to a decision to find ways to save Iris West but it seems like their friend’s inevitable fate is not just the only one in peril.
It became apparent when Barry confessed to the team about what happened to him after throwing the Philosopher stone box into the speed force to put Savitar in prison.
As he accidentally jumps off into the future and sees himself trying to save Iris from the hands of Savitar, he failed to do so. This eventually made Barry anxious about the fate of Iris when that time comes.
Episode 10 entitled “Borrowing Problems from the Future,” Barry struggled mightily as he tries to keep the secret from Iris and everyone that also kept him distracted in the current situation and he also was having problems with his own decision-making.
It was not easy for Barry since he really wanted to tell Iris what has been bugging him, He also missed out saving Central City from the new villain in the character of Jared Morillo also known as Plunder.
But with Wally West suiting up as Kid Flash, he covered for Barry and eventually catch the tenacious villain. But if somehow made Barry feel jealous of Wally for not following his orders, causing sort of tension between the two superheroes.
However, the uncomfortable team up between Wally and Barry seems to fade away when Barry began to release the heavy baggage he has been carrying for a long while to himself, admitting that he was too afraid that every current event might lead to Iris’s inescapable death in the future.
So with the help of H.R. Wells, he explained to Barry and his team what could be the possible risks if in case Barry tries to time travel in the future. He explained that there are several possibilities in the event that they will alter the future to save Iris West.
But then, Team Flash agreed to do it. They have decided to think of ways on how can they carefully not mess up the future timeline as well as keep the secret from Joe West, who will definitely feel devastated if he knows that Iris will die in the future.
Through Cisco’s vibe power, Cisco and Barry were able to travel back in the exact date where Barry saw Iris’s death, May 23, 2017. It is possible that it is the date when “The Flash” Season 3 would come to a close.
Cisco and Barry began to mention each headline they saw on the running news as requested by H.R. Wells so they could never miss out one single detail that would help them alter the future.
First on their list, Music Meister gets a six-figure book deal. According to spoilers, there will be a “Glee” reunion on the set with The CW’s “Supergirl” and “The Flash” upcoming crossover episodes, but no particular date has been announced yet.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a recent interview that the crew has already decided to include Darren Criss in the high-rating superhero shows on The CW.
With Supergirl played by Melissa Benoist and Flash played by Grant Gustin, viewers will see these two Glee alums reunite with Darren Criss who will portray as a wicked villain, Music Meister, whose power is to hypnotize his targets by singing.
Some fans have even speculated that they might get to watch the three characters sing with their gleeful voices once again, which would be quite nostalgic for “Glee” fans.
The anticipated crossover episodes will happen on March 20 and 21 on “Supergirl” and “The Flash,” respectively, both episodes entitled, “Duet.”
The second on the headline would be about Central City still recovering from the gorilla attack so it looks like Gorilla Grodd is returning to the show.
