Few things can ruin the show at this point, so hopefully we aren’t going to see any crazy experiment with the main characters or setting. The producers don’t really need to go in that direction to keep the show interesting for now.
On the other hand, most fans seemingly wouldn’t mind if they saw a little more deviation from the established canon from the comic books. Just because things worked in a certain way in the original version of the story doesn’t mean that the producers of the show have to keep everything like it was.
But for now, let’s see what they’re planning for us for season 3, and how they are going to integrate the new actors into the current cast. Who will The Flash have to face, and is it actually just one main villain or multiple ones?
It’s shaping up to be a solid season, and the current revelations about the show have given hope for the future to many fans. Even when it’s just an unconfirmed rumor, there is plenty for fans to talk about right now, and enough to keep discussions moving at a steady pace. One can also regularly see some interesting ideas in those discussion threads, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the show’s producers are keeping an eye on them as well.
