The Flash Season 3 Makes Things Interesting by Throwing Kid Flash into the Mix

Some pictures of Keiynan Lonsdale in a Kid Flash suit have been going around the Internet lately, causing a lot of excitement among the show’s fans. It looks like Wally West, Lonsdale’s character on the show, will now have a more interesting place in the plot, and we can expect to see him interacting with The Flash in more peculiar ways.

All that’s left now is to see who the major villain for this season is. There has been a lot of talk about the enemy Barry’s facing this time around, but so far we have no clue who the villain could be. Needless to say though, fans have plenty of theories. Some have also been keeping an eye on the show’s casting and new actors coming on board, as this can always be a hint for an upcoming character.

For example, Todd Lasance (who fans might recognize from “The Vampire Diaries”) is someone suspected by a large number of fans, and his name gets brought up in articles about the show often as well. The actor was recently added to “The Flash”, although his exact role was never specified. Combined with some pictures allegedly showing the actor in attire resembling a classic DC villain, this has led many to believe that Lasance will be the main bad guy of this season.

But the truth could be somewhere else, and it’s entirely in the style of this show’s producers to mislead their fans and reveal something completely different. After all, Lasance is a bit of an obvious choice right now, and that might be exactly what the show’s producers are looking to achieve.

All we know is that Lasance will reportedly play a new speedrunner on the show, but this still doesn’t make it a 100% confirmation that he will be The Black Racer specifically, as is being speculated in some circles.

The new villain sounds quite scary in any case. Reports claim that Barry will find himself unable to do anything to stop him, which hints that he might need to use some more unusual tactics. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen The Flash approaching a situation from a strange angle, and those familiar with the character from before the current show should already be used to the idea of seeing him face seemingly insurmountable obstacles. That’s just part of the charm behind him, and to an extent, a main idea behind the character.

There is plenty of time for the producers to make changes to the show before bringing it back to the screen, as its pause will continue for almost three months. On October 4, fans will find out what the producers are planning for their favorite character, and we’ll see who the main villain of this season is. We wouldn’t be surprised if there is a major plot twist coming on that date, as it would be the perfect way for the show to come back.

the flash

“The Flash” started out on somewhat shaky grounds, and it took a while for fans to warm up to the show. It immediately attracted some long-time fans of The Flash, but that wasn’t enough to build a solid following. After a few episodes, the producers quickly found a way to make their characters work together though, and we’ve been seeing warm reception to the subsequent seasons. Recently, ratings have been very good, so the producers have a solid way paved ahead of them, and they just have to maintain the momentum.
