‘The Flash’ Season 3 Episode 7 to Show Caitlin Snow Unleashing Her Evil Alter Ego in Killer Frost

The upcoming seventh episode of Season 3 of the American supernatural drama TV series “The Flash” to air on The CW on November 22 will get another cold treatment.

And it is not going to come from Leonard Smart a.k.a. Captain Cold but from a new villain who was already hinted during Season 2 and also in early goings of Season 3 when Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash, played by Grant Gustin, created an alternate timeline in Flashpoint.

The threat that Team Flash will face in the upcoming episode will actually come from their own ranks as Caitlin Snow, played by Danielle Panabaker, will unleash her evil alter ego in Killer Frost.

It has already been hinted that Caitlin would turn dark based on the premonitions of her own mother and while the pretty scientist of Team Flash continues to battle against her impending transformation, she will finally lose her battle in the upcoming episode 7 that shall pave the way for the arrival of Killer Frost, details Game & Guide.

Hesitant superhero

Because he knows that Killer Frost is Caitlin Snow, Barry will hesitate to use his powers against the new metahuman.

But as far as Killer Frost is concerned, she will want to get rid of the Scarlet Speedster out of her way. Which is why the next episode will be something to look forward to for the fans of “The Flash.”

In a recent interview, Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays Wally West a.k.a. Kid Flash in “The Flash,” revealed that the people were already pretty worried that Caitlin would become a villain after they saw her Earth-2 doppelganger during Season 2 and the early episodes of Season 3.

Lonsdale said that Killer Frost from Earth-2 was not a friendly foe. He said that with Caitlin being scared of her powers can also be an issue, citing that when something is pushed away, the higher the chance of it being able to take over, reports the International Business Times.

In the trailer for the seventh episode of “The Flash” Season 3, Caitlin’s cold metahuman self completely takes over her consciousness, forcing her to do terrible things. She was seen throwing icicles at her friend Cisco, played by Carlos Valdez, who is forced to use his own metahuman powers against her.

Caitlin shall also kidnap Barry’s fellow CSI, Julian, played by Tom Felton, who ends up becoming a victim of her icy powers. Despite all the troubles that Caitlin brings, Barry refuses to fight against her.

Barry was quoted as saying in the trailer that he is not going to fight her. But Killer Frost told Barry that he keeps messing with everyone’s lives by altering the timeline before delivering that quotable quote when Caitlin said that Barry made her cold.

The four-night crossover

In addition to the upcoming seventh episode, fans of “The Flash” are also getting excited for The CW four-night crossover event involving the four TV series based on DC Comics including “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl,” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Episode 8 of “The Flash” Season 3, to be shown on November 29, is bound to get a little crowded in terms of superheroes as the trailer showed that Barry will be introducing Supergirl, played by Melissa Benoit, to Team Arrow.

When somebody asked Barry what makes Supergirl so super, Supergirl flies and beams forth laser-like energy from her eyes etching unto the floor the Supergirl logo, which seems to satisfy everyone.

Team Flash will need all the help they can get as they seemed to have met a tough nemesis in Savitar, whose speed far surpasses that of The Flash.

the-flash

Incidentally, there were reports confirming that the main villains for “The Flash” Season 3 would be Dr. Alchemy and Savitar, the self-proclaimed god of motion.

It would have been a minor deviation in a way from the first two seasons of “The Flash” as one of the main villains would not be a speed demon just like the Reverse-Flash in Season 1 and Zoom in Season 2.

However, there seems to be an evolving character in “The Flash” who the critics believe should be the main villain for Season 3 of the hit TV series. And it is no other than Killer Frost.
