This in turn will connect the present to infinite time realities, allowing him to travel back in time while allowing Wells to head in the future. The plan was risky because if Allen does not hit top speed, he will die. There was also the potential of creating a black hole that will destroy the world, giving Allen just less than two minutes to change the past.
Allen successfully traveled back in time, but his future self told him not to save their mother. Instead, Allen assured his mother that he is safe in the future before she died. Flash returned to stop Wells from returning to his time. Before Wells could kill Allen, Eddie killed himself, wiping out Wells existence because it turned out that Eobard Thawne, disguised as Wells, is Eddie’s distant descendant.
The first installment of “The Flash” was very successful as it averaged a total of 6.06 million viewers. The emotional season finale got a total of 3.87 million viewers.
“The Flash” Season 2 is slated to premiere on October 6, 2015, which will be aired on The CW network.
