As to whom Iris will have her romantic tryst with, critics believe that it could be Scott Evans, played by Tone Bell. However, Iris and Scott will first have to overcome a difference of opinion about the city’s most famous resident. Viewers know that Iris West is very supportive of The Flash while Scott does not approve of his ways.
Kreisberg said that the relationship would be very interesting because Scott can’t stand The Flash because he thinks the speedster is phony and he also does not believe in heroes anymore while Iris has become The Flash’s biggest booster.

She was captured by Zoom and the situation has put Barry Allen into some serious problem considering his feelings for her.
Barry’s problem eventually become more complicated in the following episode with the return of the Reverse-Flash so he had to defer rescuing Patty from the hands of Zoom.
