Awakening after a nine-month coma, Allen discovers that he has the ability to move at superhuman speeds. He soon discovered that he is not the only one who was changed by the radiation, known as metahumans. He also vowed to protect Central City from the escalating violence of metahuman criminals. The Flash is being aided with a few close friends and associates who guard his secrets.
It is from these other metahumans that the other speedsters will arise and show themselves on Season 2 of “The Flash.”
Initial reports indicate that Wally West, or Wallace R. West, will be coming to Season 2 and join Barry Allen in his quest to defeat the bad guys. Everyone who is familiar with the story of The Flash knows that West is known among DC Comics enthusiasts as the “Kid Flash.”
Wally West is the man most associated with “The Flash” title for an entire generation. Defined by his quick wit and mischievous nature, he began his superhero career as “Kid Flash,” the sidekick to the silver age “The Flash.” The character shall be played by Keiynan Lonsdale, and it is likely that Kid Flash will be around for much of the show as the actor has been made into a series regular.
