A recent new rumor about “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” claims that The Flash will be making a cameo appearance in the new film, and some critics have pointed out that this could lend some credibility to another rumor, that the “Wonder Woman” solo film is going to be a prequel to the rest of the DC Cinematic Universe.
Jared Leto is also supposedly going to appear in a flashback scene in the film, depicting one of the most famous scenes from the comic books where the Joker beat Robin to death with a blunt weapon. This is just a rumor so far, but it’s coming from a source that has had many confirmed leaks in the past, so there is likely some credibility to it.
Aquaman was previously rumored to be making a cameo in the film, and now Wonder Woman is supposedly going to appear in the movie too. Some have been speculating that we may see a “jailbreak” led by Batman after he’s done organizing the various superheroes that he needs for his team.
Jason Momoa is going to play the role of Aquaman, and even though some fans were excited at the news, there was also some controversy surrounding the redesigned version of his character. Not everyone likes the new look, and it’s also not clear how prominently he’s going to be featured in the new film. It’s possible that he will make just a small, brief appearance.
As for The Flash, he might be seen in some surveillance footage showing him in the process of stopping a robbery, or at least as much as we are capable of seeing from those events. There is much to be revealed about the new film and many details about it remain a mystery, which is why so many fans have been eagerly anticipating its release.
Which, according to current plans, should happen on March 26, 2016. So far there have been no rumors about possible delays or other problems with the production, so we’re expecting to see it coming out on time. Of course, with almost one year to go until then, a lot can happen behind the scenes – but if there are any possible delays, we’ll likely start hearing rumors about that early on.
Plus, at this point we would expect production of the film to be far enough that any delays would be small and insignificant. If everything goes smoothly, we should see the initial moves towards mass marketing in a few months, and hopefully we’ll get some more rumors at that time as well.
