The Expendables 4 Draws Interest of The Rock But He Wants to be a Bad Guy in the Film!

If it is true that Sylvester Stallone is now considering Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to be part of “The Expendables 4,” then it is likely that there will be two wrestlers who would be appearing in the fourth and latest installment of the popular action film franchise.

There have been previous reports that The Rock has also expressed interest in getting involved with “The Expendables 4” after seeing Ronda Rousey being part of the third movie and also on the idea thrown his way by Terry Crews on an online public forum last year.

Apparently, The Rock said then that if he would be asked to become part of “The Expendables” franchise, he would gladly accept it.

However, he added that he does not want to be on Stallone’s team and be buddies with the Expendables. He said that he wants to be a bad guy because he wants to hurt every single one of the Expendables and tell them to send their soul to heaven because their behind is his.

He also added that he will allow Rousey to live because she will be his character’s training partner and Crews will also live because his character would also need someone to complete the pec popping at the end, details Crossmap.

Of course, The Rock was saying everything in jest. But the bottomline is, he would like to be part of “The Expendables 4” if and when Stallone gives him the chance.

Two bad guys from wrestling?

It has been previously reported that wrestling Hall-of-Famer Hulk Hogan has been confirmed to play the meanest baddie for “The Expendables 4.”

While no detail on “The Expendables 4” movie has been made available as of yet, Hulk Hogan confirmed in an interview a few months ago that he has been in casual talks with Stallone where they discussed the possibility of him appearing as the villain in the fourth instalment of the action film franchise.

If it is true that Hogan is confirmed and The Rock comes along, then the two of them will form the main villains for “The Expendables 4,” notes Youth Health Mag.

Assuming that the deal is agreed upon, Hogan and The Rock will be the second and third wrestlers to play villain in “The Expendables” movie franchise following Stone Cold Steve Austin, who teamed up with Eric Roberts to give Stallone, Jason Statham and company fits in “The Expendables” shown in 2010.

Hulk Hogan and The Rock will also be lined up with the big name action stars that previously played villains in subsequent “The Expendables” movies including Jean-Claude Van Damme and Mel Gibson.

History together

Hulk Hogan and Sylvester Stallone have a history of working together. They first collaborated during the filming of “Rocky III” back in 1982.

The wrestling great actually disclosed about the initial talks that he recently had with Stallone during an interview while he was attending the annual Body Power Expo held in the UK in May.

He further revealed that he is being primed up to play the most evil man in the world and would thus become the next target of the mercenary group’s ire, guns and rockets too.

The Hulkster has had his fair share of Hollywood movies and he has been hinting for years that a ‘hulked-up’ “The Expendables” sequel is what the franchise fans deserve, a comment that did not escape the attention of Sylvester Stallone who has also seen the potentials.

But at the ripe age of 61, Hulk Hogan says he is not sure if his body can still keep up with the action scenes that would be required of him in the movie, if ever, but he did acknowledge that maybe the producers could find a good stunt man to help him out in those scenes.

Surely, Hulk Hogan joining “The Expendables 4” movie would be most welcome to action movie fans as well as to the throngs of supporters of the Hulkster from the WWE ever since he broke ground in wrestling more than three decades ago.
