The Expendables 4 Cast Gets Bigger Release Date Far Away!

The Expendables movie franchise has been one that is been very popular over the last few years. A series of movies that has so much action and some of the best action actors in the business should be bringing in millions around the world and it is. Stallone got the movies going from day one and along with producer Avi Lerner, they have taken off and gained a very good following for actors that might have been out of work for a little while.

Rumors have been piling up about the next movie, called The Expendables 4 and who is going to be a part of the cast, when the movie is going to be released and whether or not there will be a fifth addition to the series. The first rumor, the one about the cast, has been getting more buzz as names are getting tossed around by fans. The names are not confirmed, but they do include Hulk Hogan, Jack Nicholson and even Jackie Chan.

Many would love to see any of those three in the movie, but as mentioned before, none of them have been confirmed at this time. The release date for the movie just seems to be too far away. In order for a movie to keep the fans loyal, the sequels have to be released in quick succession after the first one. Maybe that will not be the case with The Expendables 4 and the all star cast of action stars.

The release date is set for 2017 and maybe that has something to do with scheduling with the current cast of characters, but nothing has been said by those behind the movie. According to one online source, the reason for the delay is that Stallone is filming the last movie in the Rocky series, then after that is going to finish up Rambo 5: Last Blood, then he will have time to start filming The Expendables 4. After all of that, it will be far into next year.

Recently, it was announced that Jackie Chan might show up in the fourth movie, but that news was quickly stopped when Chan commented himself. He said that he would love to be in the movie, but he does not want his part to be a five minute fight scene. He was asked to be in the second and third movies, but turned down the roles because they were not big enough, according to sources. Since the movie is not going to be filmed for at least a year, maybe that is enough time to get Jackie Chan on board.
