Reasons behind the warm reception
Gaming experts think that there are several aspects why “The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited” is receiving positive feedback from both critics and gamers.
According to Game Informer, ZeniMax Online Studios created a unique world of Tamriel and is evident with the MMORPG’s creative gameplay, characters, setting, and appearance. The game developer was successful in expertly crafting familiar lands like the Skyrim and Morrowind. In addition, Zenimax made sure not to stray the gameplay far from the formula that players have been accustomed to in previous “The Elder Scrolls” installments.
The experts also noted that the animation in the MMORPG was fluid and detailed. The enhanced animation did not only concentrate on the movements of the characters but was also excellently applied to particle effects, flames, water surfaces and even the trivial lava flows. Due to the beautiful animation, the game brought every setting to life.
Since the main goal of “The Elder Scrolls Online” is for the players to team up with other strangers while they are on missions, the random public events in the game provided another entertainment to the users. Each participant of the event can gain several rewards when other users are completing the same mission, even if they only did it together by chance.
Despite the warm response of gamers and critics, it appears that the MMORPG still has to fix some of its glitches. For instance, gaming experts noticed that there are times when the characters of other players do not load completely. The graphics hiccup will then result for the characters to become shadow figures roaming the landscape.
“The Elder Scrolls Online” is the second best-selling game in the United States in June and game publisher Bethesda promised during the E3 Expo that it will feature new areas in the game soon such as Orsinium, the city-province of the Orcs; and the Imperial City, the Capital of Cyrodiil.
Minor typo: Best Buy’s customer reviews are actually 4.3 stars out of 5, not 10.
