All in all, there are many things that can be done to the next “Elder Scrolls” title – whenever it might be coming out – to make its gameplay more interesting and expansive, and it sounds like many of those features could come directly from “Fallout 4”.
But there is a long time to go before we find that out. From what we’ve heard about Bethesda lately, the development of “Fallout 4” took up all the company’s resources and it made it pretty much impossible for them to focus on anything else. What this means is that there has likely been little progress on the other franchise, if any.
We have been hearing certain rumors about “The Elder Scrolls 6”, and it’s claimed that the company is at least in the process of drawing up plans for the game and deciding on its main gameplay features. But as far as actual development goes, it doesn’t sound like they’ve gotten very far there.
We could be wrong though, as Bethesda are traditionally very secretive about their work and they don’t like to reveal much about their special projects along the way. It’s possible that the game is under heavy development but we just aren’t hearing anything about it because the company wants to surprise their fans.
