‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Launching in June Now a Possibility as Bethesda Confirms E3 2016 Press Event!

Since late last year, there have been reports that game developer Bethesda Studios is unlikely to unveil the upcoming role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6” at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 because it is still in the thick of development.

However, at the onset of February, Bethesda Studios announced that it would hold another press event during the upcoming E3 2016 this coming June, the same way it did last year at E3 2015.

It could be recalled that Bethesda launched at the E3 2015 the video games “Dishonored 2,” “Doom” and “Battlecry,” before topping it off with the high-profile role-playing game “Fallout 4.”

Although the speculation then was that “The Elder Scrolls 6” might be launched at this year’s E3, Bethesda has stated that it was unsure if it will ever hold a similar E3 briefing in the future.

It seems that the developer has changed its tune this time as it probably now has a big line-up of high-profile games to justify doing another similar press event at E3 2016, notes Neurogadget.

Possible line-up

Critics believe that is possible that Bethesda Studios might feature during the E3 2016 press briefing “Dishonored 2,” “Doom,” and “Battlecry” yet again especially if the developer does not roll out those games before June this year.

It is possible that “Wolfstein” might be included too considering the success of “The New Order” and “The Old Blood.” There are also speculations that Bethesda might consider launching the sequel to “The Evil Within.”

There is also a possibility that Bethesda may unravel a surprise during the E3 2016 press briefing.

But the event would surely live up to its hype if the developer finally brings out the highly-anticipated “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Just like “Fallout 4,” “The Elder Scrolls 6” is a huge series for Bethesda and it would surely induce the hype for the company’s big E3 2016 press event. However, if the game is still too far out from its release date, it would be too premature for Bethesda to make an announcement well ahead of time.

Improving loading times

As there is nothing definite about the release date of “The Elder Scrolls 6” as of this time, all the rumored details from the possible ‘Skyrim 2’ title to the different worlds and other features remain as speculation until Bethesda finally makes the official confirmation.

However, what seems clear at this point is that Bethesda is working to make sure that it will be improving the loading times between one part of the world or another, which has been the key problem in the past iterations of “The Elder Scrolls,” notes Gaming Bolt.

Critics were suggesting that Bethesda should learn and take note from the video game “Tom Clancy’s The Division” where the developers promised to keep the loading times to a minimum.

Bethesda should always bear in mind that the longer the gamers have to wait for the next screen to load, the more they would feel as if they are not really inside the game.

Prior to Bethesda’s announcement last week, “The Elder Scrolls 6” has been rumored to come out in 2017.

With the completion of “Fallout 4” and its DLCs towards the second half of this year, Bethesda needs to bring another AAA game, which is no other than “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

Bethesda is actually taking advantage of the small window between the game’s unveiling and release date because the short period of time allows fans to get excited about the upcoming game without having to wait so long that they would be forced to move on and focus on another game.

Whether fans and gamers, believe it or not, the role-playing game “Fallout 4” that was released by Bethesda Studios in November last year was a disappointment to many critics and gamers too.

Apart from its very shallow dialogue system, “Fallout 4” has an unimaginative story as well as a terrible user interface and crafting mechanics that overshadowed everything else in the game.

Critics believe that Bethesda Studios should pick up the lessons and learn from there with its upcoming role-playing game “The Elder Scrolls 6.”
