‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Could Be One of the Three Big and Crazy Projects that Bethesda is Working On at the Moment, Cite Critics!

With that being said, then it is likely that the rumors about the game being launched at the upcoming E3 2016 have a good leg to stand on. It is just up to Bethesda if it sees it appropriate to launch the game in the event and make it available early next year or at the very latest, the second half of 2017.

While nobody is certain when “The Elder Scrolls 6” could officially come out in the gaming consoles and the PC, there are now reports that it would have to come out once Bethesda officially unveils the remastered version of its predecessor game, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Still, even the release date of the remastered version of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” is still up in the air and Bethesda is also not talking about it.

One thing is certain at this point is that “The Elder Scrolls 6” would not officially come out in the gaming consoles this year and the earliest date that it can do so is around next year.

With the reports of an impending release of the remastered version of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,” it seems that the notion that “The Elder Scrolls 6” shall be a continuation of the story of its predecessor has been further reinforced, confirming reports that the next “The Elder Scrolls” game could come out with the official title of “The Elder Scrolls 6: Skyrim 2.”

  1. I am pretty sure Skyrim 2 won’t happen. The best bet is a new place. Either Valenwood, Elsweyr or Orsimer.

    1. personally, while I know TES jumps from province to province, I’d like to go back to Cyrodiil and see what it’s like after the great war. Or see it set within the Summerset Isle and – hopefully – the fall of the Aldmeri Dominion. Since, y’know… racial bigotry ain’t nice.

  2. The idea of ‘Skyrim 2’ is completly absurd and will never happen. Bethesda have stated many times that they create ‘new stories and worlds’, meaning they wont make a Skyrim 2. Why would you want to play another game set in this same place? A new province with a new protangonist and story is what Elder Scrolls is about. And since Fallout 4 took around 4-5 years to develop, an Elder Scrolls game is most likely a ver late 2018, early 2019 release minimum
