It can be recalled that Tom and Liz planned to escape together, but Liz decided to call the whole thing off. Tom was seen being left on the boat, not aware that Liz has just killed the attorney general.
However, producers of the show disclosed that questions about the real relationship between Red and Liz will not be answered in the early episodes of Season 3, cites Venture Capital Post.
Executive producer John Eisendrath says that in the course of the 22 episodes of Season 3, ‘The Blacklist’ will give more answers about the past, but the premiere episode will focus entirely on the present.
Season 3 will also introduce a new villain named Mr. Solomon, which is to be played by Edi Gathegi, who portrayed Darwin in “X-Men: First Class.”
Based on the synopsis, Mr. Solomon is described as a secretive, modest and serene on the surface but has a terrifying hidden capacity for violence beneath it all. He is apparently a monster in disguise as a true gentleman and he is actually the hired hand of The Cabal as ‘the cleaner.’
Latest leaks about “The Blacklist” indicate that the fourth episode will bring the fugitives face-to-face with a criminal whose nickname comes from the Islamic mythology – the Djinn.
