“The Blacklist” has recently introduced some relatively bad developments for Liz Keen, and it looks like the character is about to face even more trouble in the near future judging by what the writers have reportedly prepared. Fans of the show should probably get ready to see Liz tortured by upcoming plot developments a little bit, but in the end it was obvious that this was coming in the character’s situation and she was about to be put to some serious tests during this season.
Liz has been on the run from assassins and the chase that they have been putting on her has been an interesting side plot for many fans of the show, and it looks like they aren’t done toying with her just yet. There are some developments coming in the next episodes of season 3 which will truly put Liz in a dangerous situation and make fans wonder if she’s actually going to make it out this time, and while we don’t expect that the writers are going to actually cause any harm to her right now, it does sound like she’s going to face some really grim prospects for her future.
The fact that Liz used to work for the FBI herself has made this part of the story very interesting, and it was clearly planned this way from the very beginning as the writers wanted to create some interesting clash between the forces on the show. At the same time, she doesn’t have anywhere near the same resources as her former employer, so she’s obviously not in a very good position to evade her pursuers for too long.
Still, we’re going to see the FBI moving in to help Liz in some ways, and they will actually have people assigned to protecting her and trying to get her through the whole ordeal alive. It would be interesting to see how certain agents from the FBI would assist in the situation and if they will really improve Liz’s chances of survival, but most fans right now are apparently expecting some more dramatic developments that will come as a shock to everyone.
It’s probably fair to expect that the writers of this show have prepared something more dramatic for their fans and they aren’t just going to let this part of the story conclude with no major repercussions, but we have no idea what that could be. In fact, the future of season 3 has been one of the main topics of discussion among fans of the show online, and different people have various ideas regarding how the season could continue and what we might see in the next few episodes.
The fate of Liz in particular has been a very interesting topic for most fans, and the character is intentionally written in a way that leaves a lot of room for guessing with regards to her future, which is why the writers have been capitalizing on this and focusing on her development as much as possible.
Still, the show can’t survive just on Liz’s story alone, and other major plot lines need to unravel in order for the whole production to keep going.
