Red, Liz, and Dembe learned later that it was a young girl who put the hit on Liz’s head because she thought that the former FBI profiler was the one responsible for her mother’s death. Liz explained to the girl the entire situation and she was able to convince the young lass that she was not the one who killed her mother. The young girl then removed the contract on Liz’s head.
The fifth episode appears to have ended well as Liz is safe while Red is reunited with Dembe. Tom, on the other hand, found a way to get close to Sutton, played by Peter Vack, and learn more about Karakurt.
Karakurt appears to be being hidden by a Russian mob and Tom will have to infiltrate the group by wiggling his way through via the fight club.
The fifth episode of “The Blacklist” was a marked improvement in terms of pace compared to the fourth episode.
The fourth episode of “The Blacklist” fulfills the basic requirements of the TV series and also came up with a mysterious means to end the subplot of having Red and Liz practically going around in circles with their efforts to track down the Cabal.
There was really nothing significant that transpired during the fourth episode as it appears that the show was doing a stalling tactic until the writers come up with something big for the next episodes of “The Blacklist.” The action-packed and suspenseful fifth episode, as well as the upcoming sixth episode, prove the analysis correct.
