Cartermatt reports that the next couple of episodes will be very stormy for both characters as they both will face another problem as well as individual dilemmas.
The next episode will also come as a struggle for Liz as she will try her best to go back to her old life and live normal again. Despite being free and badge-less, Liz will find out that the normalcy she wants won’t come easy as expected.
Aside from his possible impostor or twin, Red also agrees to help the task force in infiltrating a group of high-level criminals in an operation that aims to capture the leaders of the world’s most dangerous organized crime syndicates.
The show’s executive producer Jon Bokenkamp spoke to Entertainment Weekly and said that Liz’s status in the FBI now is a consultant—seemingly closer to Red’s position in the Bureau.
Bokenkamp also talks about a fallout from the very nature of her crime. This affects the team, making the team question who they are and how they work.
The showrunner adds that Liz being free will drive a wedge in the team and everything about the Bureau will be placed in the gray area in the next few episodes.
