The second half of the “The Blacklist” Season 2 will be returning to NBC on Super Bowl Sunday, February 1, 2015 with a two-part episode that will leave fans glued to their TV sets with so much intensity and suspenseful excitement.
The last episode of the American crime thriller TV series, titled “The Decembrist” was shown on November 10, 2014 and has taken a break for the holidays since.
The two-part episode titled “Luther Braxton” shall have actor Ron Perlman as Luther Braxton who will attempt to get confidential information from the FBI even as main character Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington, played by James Spader, struggles in prison, hints Cartermatt.
The first of the two-part episode shall be aired on Sunday, February 1 but the concluding part would be aired at 9 pm of Thursday, February 5, which shall mark the debut of “The Blacklist” on its new timeslot on NBC.

FBI boss Harold Cooper, played by Harry Lenix, shall also be in a dilemma as he tries to rescue his team led by Red from the detention facility while they also contend with chaos in the Factory.
Luther Braxton will attempt to get confidential information as Red and his team race against the clock to stop him.
There was also a hint that the relationship of Red and FBI Special Agent Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Keen, played by Megan Boone, will also come to play during the two-part episode.
Fans of the TV series are getting excited of the plot as well as the presence of Ron Perlman in the two-part episode because the actor is very compelling in whatever roles he assumes, whether it’s a hero or a villain.

Produced by Davis Entertainment, Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television, the second season of “The Blacklist” premiered on NBC on September 22, 2014.
In addition to James Spader, Megan Boone, and Harry Lenix, other regular cast members of the TV series are Diego Klattenhoff who plays FBI Special Agent Donald Ressler, Ryan Eggold who plays Tom Keen, Amir Arison who plays Aram Mojtabai, and Mozhan Marno who play Samar Navabi.
Since “The Blacklist” Season 2 premiered on September 22, 2014 at its original Monday 10 pm timeslot, it has already aired eight episodes. Indicative of how popular the TV series is, each episode is being watched by at least 15 million viewers.
Its season premiere episode titled “Lord Baltimore (No. 104)” was the most watched among in the current season with a total of 19.33 million viewers.
When it was renewed for Season 2, “The Blacklist” will have a total of 22 episodes so after February 5, fans will still have to enjoy 12 episodes of the crime thriller TV series that has Jon Bokenkam, John Davis, John Eisendrath, John Fox and Joe Carnahan, as executive producers.
