2014 was quite a huge year for Batman fans all over the world. There were a lot of rumors and speculations surrounding this subject. We came to know that Ben Affleck suited up as the Dark Knight and that Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice has been filmed over a period of 8 months, starting from May to December.
We are bound to get overwhelmed with an avalanche of official marketing merchandise that will come our way in 2015. However, before that we need to take a look at the biggest stories of the year.
At Comic-Con in July, we saw Zack Snyder, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill surprising fans with their special appearance. They didn’t come empty handed either. They displayed their new photos of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman plus shared a small teaser trailer for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In May, it was exactly the moment we all had been waiting for. Director Zack Snyder displayed the first ever photo of Ben Affleck as Batman in Twitter. The newly developed Batsuit is similar to the one we in Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns” which will make a huge influence on the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. During the six months that were entirely spent on this upcoming movie, it would not have been as awesome without Bananadoc.
He spent his free time wandering around the set with a DSLR camera, capturing a lot of interesting behind-the-scene photos. He also sent Batman News and exclusive photo showing Scoot McNairy. It was later revealed something about his legs won’t be the same in post-production. We are not sure as to whom he is playing, but it will be revealed later on.
Zack Snyder unveiled the first image of Ben Affleck as The Batman with the Batmobile lurking in the background. However, we couldn’t get a good proper look at it. However, in September The Batmobile hit Detroit streets and fans took a lot of photos showing off its glory. Ben Affleck will sure be riding on a beast of a Batmobile, which looks as if it’s the spawn of Christian Bale and Michael Keaton’s Batmobile.
During the first surface of rumors regarding Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, a lot of information was provided on Lex Luthor. According to some sources, we are now aware that Luthor will sport a dirty blond hairdo at some point in the movie. Jesse Eisenberg playing Luthor suffers from jittery mannerisms almost like a 20-pound guy who gulps energy drinks all through the day.
Up in 2015, we will see the first ever trailer of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Warner Bros. should be showing it in the biggest possible stage for the desired effect!
