The 42-year-old actor admitted that after nine seasons, the writers are going to have to dig really deep to come up with a way to surprise fans. But one thing the actor doesn’t want them to bring yet is Sheldon being a father.
Parsons said that fans should enjoy Sheldon and Amy taking their relationship a step further and that fatherhood is for Howard to enjoy.
As for the expectant parents, Design & Trend reports that Howard’s reaction last episode will be happening from time to time as he is really excited and at the same time scared on being a first-time parent.
During the last episode, Howard told the guys that since he grew up without a father, he might not be a good one to their future child, but Sheldon said that it’s because he grew up fatherless that he will know how important he is for his own child.
Meanwhile, Bernadette went to the girls to have some comfort because she is worried by Howard’s reaction, but Amy and Penny tell her that their life will be so much better with a child on it.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Steve Molaro dished that their decision to write the pregnancy storyline for Rauch’s character took a long time to materialize.
Molaro admitted that the writers have been toying about her being pregnant for a while now, but they never really finalized anything before.
