Sheldon and Leonard have been the best of friends since the first season of “The Big Bang Theory” but for the first time in a long while, they were at loggerheads with one another and even engaged in a heated debate.
The argument between Sheldon and Leonard divided their friends into two camps depending on whose side they favored. The two camps that were formed out of the big group stayed in different rooms.
Sheldon was joined by Penny, Raj and Stuart while Leonard had Amy, Bernadette, and Howard to his side.
Amy expressed to Leonard her reservations about the division because the roommate arrangement seemed to make Penny and Sheldon so close.
The episode made everyone chose sides when a petty argument between Leonard and Sheldon erupted into a heated fight during the group get-together.
While it appeared that the argument between Sheldon and Leonard was going to be endless, the petty quarrel and the differing opinions of the opposing sides was all forgotten by each member of the two groups when Howard was rushed to the hospital after eating peanuts that Leonard served at the viewing party.
As a result, the gang kissed and made up, particularly Sheldon and Leonard, as they all went to the emergency room of the hospital to be with Howard.
