The Big Bang Theory Season 11 Might Be Cancelled, Jim Parson Not Keen On Returning, Raj To Discuss Relationship Mistakes With Ex-Girlfriends In Season 10 Episode 14

With Season 10 of The Big Bang Theory coming to an end, speculations about the next season have started. One of the latest rumors about the popular television series is that it will be canceled after Season 10. International Business Times reported that the fate of Season 11 of The Big Bang Theory depends on Jim Parsons.

Even before the launch of Season 10, there were speculations that the current season could be the last, but then the writers came out to state that they still have a lot of stories to share and would continue to write as long they have matter for the characters.

However, it looks like Jim Parsons, known to play the role of Sheldon Cooper might have informed CBS that the show will wrap up with Season 10. Since Jim Parsons himself hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumors, there isn’t any need to believe it.

Variety reported that Season 11 is set to become a reality and all the leading members of the cast, including Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco will be a part of it. Glenn Geller, the president of entertainment at CBS said that the network is in talk with the stars and they are confident about working out a deal with them.

Rumors suggest that even though Season 11 of The Big Bang Theory becomes a reality, Jim Parsons might not be a part of it. Parsons is already busy with projects outside the Big Bang Theory, and hence he might not have the time or the interest to be a part of Season 11.

Parsons has been roped in as the consultant and executive producer of a new untitled show and is also a producer for Lance 2.0. The Monarchy is Going to Sh*t, Lakeside VA, and The Terranauts.

Given that Sheldon Cooper is a primary character in the show, there are chances that his absence might affect the shows continuity and hence it might be canceled. This won’t be the first time that a favorite show has faced such a situation. There have previously been incidents where a show abruptly came to an end because one of the primary characters refused to continue with it.

With Season 10 on the verge of ending, Johnny Galecki said that the writers of the show are in a dilemma and the future of the show is uncertain. Entertainment Weekly reported that according to Galecki, there are quite a few ideas in the pipeline and there is a discussion on what needs to be done next.

Galecki might have said that the future is uncertain, but he added that the writers were confident and excited about writing for The Big Bang Theory for some more years. Galecki stated that if the writers are sure about churning out interesting plots, then he will surely be on board for Season 11.

Kaley Cuoco had also expressed interest in being part of the show. She said that the future of show might be a tricky one, but whatever happens; she will be on board with everyone else.

According to Yibada, another problem with The Big Bang Theory Season 11 is that all the actors are demanding higher pay. Each of the actors gets $1 million per episode, but they want a raise for Season 11.

The producers feel that the show is already expensive to run and the production cost per episode is more than $9 million. Showrunner Steve Molaro might not get backing from the producers if the stars want a raise in their fees.
