CBS has also released the November 3 episode title and it’s named “The Veracity Elasticity.”
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the current season, executive producer Steve Molaro said that Bob Newhart, the actor who plays Sheldon’s childhood hero Professor Proton will be back.
The media outlet also confirmed back in August that Dean Norris will appear in a multi-episode arc this season.
Norris will be playing Colonel Williams, a tough Air Force representative from the Air Force Materiel Command, who’s interested in the boys’ quantum gyroscope for military applications.
Molaro has not yet stated if the current season is the last for the CBS comedy amid rumors of it being rife. In 2014, the show was renewed for three more seasons extending its presence running a decade.
All the contracts of the cast members will expire after the 10th season and a lot of speculations have been spiraling that this will be the series’ final season. No news of cast members negotiating their contracts has been reported yet fueling the series ending rumors.
CBS nor Molaro have not yet stated a decision, but recent interviews with the cast members state that they will be willing to do more seasons if their characters still have stories to tell.
