Season 10 of the American sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” shall return to CBS on September 19 and this early, speculations are rife on what viewers expect to see on the premiere of the show.
High among those rumors is the possible romantic tryst of Sheldon’s mother with Leonard’s father as they have seemed to have eloped during the Season 9 finale after a chaotic reunion.
There are even reports saying that the two lead characters of “The Big Bang Theory” could end up being half-brothers eventually. But those speculations seem to be running way ahead of the story already, according to some critics.
Another major plotline rumors going around with regards to Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory” is the pregnancy of Bernadette, played by Melissa Rauch, by his lover Howard Wolowitz, played by Simon Helberg.
Accordingly, the eventual birth of the Wolowitz baby shall alter the dynamics of the friendship of the main characters of the TV series.
Although executive producer Steve Molaro said that they would play around with Bernadette’s pregnancy during Season 10 and would not show outright her new baby, there are reports saying that the baby in their group may cause problems on the relationship of Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco, and Leonard Hofstadter, played by Johnny Galecki, cites the Christian Post.
If rumors are to be believed, Penny shall be pressured of having a baby very soon in their relationship once she and Leonard see Bernadette and Howard enjoying their bundle of joy. In fact, there are speculations that their relationship could go through a rough patch during Season 10 because of the pressure on both on them to finally have a baby in their romantic equation.
Moving towards serious
In contrast, the relationship of Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, and Amy, played by Mayim Bialik, shall reportedly progress and move forward to serious with the possibility of them tying the knot during the Season 10 finale.
In fact, these very same rumors are what’s giving everyone the idea that Season 10 might be the last for “The Big Bang Theory” considering that it seems headed for a happy ever after ending for Sheldon and Amy.
It is likely that Penny and Leonard would eventually work things out between their relationship and finish Season 10 with a flourish as well.
There have been countless rumors that despite enjoying very good ratings, “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 is going to be its last and it’s because of the skyrocketing salaries of three of the main stars of the show.
Reports have it that Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco shall be receiving $1 million per episode during the Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory.” At those salary rates, the producers and the network would certainly think twice about continuing the show beyond Season 10 even if the sitcom is bringing in good ratings and immense viewership.
In addition, there are also reports saying that the entire cast members of “The Big Bang Theory” are asking for additional pay before the Season 10 production begins, details Yibada.
Possibly the ending or still not
Molaro seemed to have confirmed that Season 10 of the hit sitcom may be the end but also opened the possibility that it may also be extended beyond the 10th season.
In a recent interview, Molaro said that he cannot speak really about the future of the show on behalf of the cast members but it is certainly possible that it could go past that. However, he said that Season 10 maybe the ending for “The Big Bang Theory.”
