The Season 9 finale of the American sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS in May featured three veteran actors featuring Judd Hirsch as Leonard’s father Alfred Hofstadter, Sheldon’s mother Mary Cooper, played by Laurie Metcalf, and Leonard’s mother Beverly, played by Christine Baranski.
It was a chaotic finish when Alfred and Mary seemed to have eloped which led to speculations that best friends Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, and Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, shall become stepbrothers in the upcoming Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory.”
Based on latest reports, it seems that another veteran actor in Simon Helberg will be joining “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 as the actor has said to be asking the writers and creators of the hit sitcom for his character to finally be introduced in the show.
If ever, Simon Helberg is to play the role of Howard’s father in “The Big Bang Theory,” notes the International Business Times.
Trusting the show’s writers to do the right thing
In a recent interview, Helberg said that he wants to meet Howard’s father in Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory.” He explained that if Howard’s father cannot be featured just yet on the show, the actor hopes that his name or any story about him would be included in the script.
He, however, expressed his trust to the writers of the show because they know exactly what they are doing to make the CBS sitcom really appealing to the viewers.
The show’s writers actually did the same strategy before introducing the mother and brother of Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco.
Helberg is also looking forward to the new storyline involving the pregnancy of Bernadette, played by Melissa Rauch, in the upcoming Season 10 of “The Big Bang Theory,” which shall be returning to the small screen on September 19.
So much fun between takes
Filming for Season 10 episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” has already started and it appears that two of the major stars of the show are having fun doing it.

Kaley Cuoco recently shared an adorable image featuring herself and co-star Johnny Galecki via Instagram, showing the two of them wearing an all-black ensemble, details Yibada.
Cuoco’s arms were outstretched while Galecki is seen looking at his former real-life girlfriend very intently.
There have been previous reports that Johnny Galecki was the reason why Kaley Cuoco and former husband Ryan Sweeting broke up but it was not true because the truth later came out that Sweeting’s alcohol problem caused the split.
Incidentally, the characters that they are playing the show, Penny and Leonard, shall be facing a huge step in their marriage with the impending arrival of Penny’s mother Susan and brother Randall.
Howard and Bernadette are two of the main characters of “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS but in the upcoming Season 10 of the TV series, a good portion of the storylines shall revolve around them especially with Bernadette’s pregnancy and her subsequent child birth.
Showrunner Steve Molaro revealed recently that they will play around with Bernadette’s pregnancy and not rush to her and Howard become parents right off the bat in Season 10.
There will be plenty of subplots to play around in “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 before Bernadette finally gives birth in the latter episodes.
Back in Season 9, Bernadette informed Howard that she was pregnant. The couple will be looking to explore their duties more as a parent to their upcoming kid so much so that they might lose their charm as a couple.
The change will definitely have an effect on the couple because once their child is born, each of their lives will revolve around their new baby. So fans should no longer expect coolness from Howard.
