‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Could be the Last But Stars Willing to Continue for as Long as Fans Want!

If any, another indication that Season 10 may be the last for “The Big Bang Theory” is the fact that CBS will be moving the sitcom from its Monday night time slot to Thursday night. That’s another ominous sign for the loyal fans of the show that Season 10 will be the show’s last.

Incidentally, the Season 9 finale of “The Big Bang Theory” that aired on May 12 featured Judd Hirsch as Leonard’s father Alfred. Christine Baranski, who plays Leonard’s mom Beverly, and who appeared in episode 22 also returned for the finale. As a result, there were plenty of bickerings from the estranged couple, having been long divorced.

Laurie Metcalf, who plays Sheldon’s mom Mary, also appeared in episode 24 entitled “The Convergence-Convergence” so she added to the mix in the riotous family reunion.

As expected, the episode brought forth chaos with the oldies around. There was also Wolowitz and Koothrappali who both thought that the government is out to get them when they were contacted about their guidance system.

“The Big Bang Theory” Season 9 headed to its finale enjoying 4.93 million viewership, which is way better than the two other hit TV series on CBS, “The Blacklist,” and “Empire,” which were averaging 4.17 million 4.16 million viewership, respectively.
