There are also some disappointed voices among those commenting on the rumors for the new season. There are apparently many fans of the show who enjoyed the idea of seeing Noah and Alison together more often, and this will obviously be ruined if Noah starts showing any interest in Juliette. Then there’s also the issue with his ex-wife and the possibility of the two reconciling their relationship, further complicating things.
Hopefully Noah’s head is in the right place and the character won’t make any stupid decisions in the new season. This could actually have a real impact on the show’s ratings, and fans could easily find themselves getting detached from the story if Noah’s character starts going against his own self so badly.
But then again, “The Affair” is a show that has built its reputation largely on the element of drama and surprise, so that actually wouldn’t be a shocking development.
