With barely six months to go before the end of 2015, it looks like the more than one-year-old rumor about the 2016 Ford Bronco has taken on a new form and it is no other than the 2017 Ford Bronco.
As the rumored 2016 Ford Bronco started with an April Fool’s Day joke back on April 1, 2014 that was blown out of proportion, it caught mainstream internet news attention. However, after being in the news for over a year, the rumor started losing steam.
In order to revive the fire of the rumor, the 2016 Ford Bronco has become the 2017 Ford Bronco in the speculation circle and it is now starting to spin again. Only this time, internet news sites are taking it slow and easy, either wary that it’s another hoax or still unsure whether to believe the new reports or not.
Of course, the rumor of the 2016 Ford Bronco could have been nipped in the bud as early as 2014 when it first came out if the American car manufacturer Ford Motor Company only bothered to say its piece, regardless of whatever it is. But unfortunately, Ford simply let the rumor from swirling wildly and in perpetual motion, likely believing that any news (about the company or its product) is still good news; regardless of whether it is actually true or not.
Rehash of the rumors
If one would be keen enough to browse through the reports on the 2017 Ford Bronco and compare it to previous reports about the 2016 Ford Bronco, he would sure to notice that the features, specifications, and the build, including the pattern of the stories and pictures are actually similar.
It was just like rehashing an old story and just changing or putting a tweak on one major detail – change the 2016 to 2017.
However there is one report on the 2017 Ford Bronco on 2016suv.com that says that the upcoming SUV from Ford will roll out early in 2017, although in the very same report, the article mentioned that it will come out sometime next year, meaning 2016.
Biggest hoax ever
However, because of all the details, features, and specifications that were already leaked or released about the 2016 Ford Bronco, it is just too difficult to surmise that those wealth of information are products of a vivid imagination of the person who have initiated the biggest hoax in the international motoring industry.
On the other hand, the new 2017 Ford Bronco will be based on the Ford Atlas Concept and shall be manufactured from lighter materials, which were also quite similar to the previous description about the 2016 Ford Bronco.
Accordingly, the 2017 Ford Bronco model will come with two types of V6 engines and a powerful V8 engine which shall be derived from the Ford F-150. It shall also have a six-speed automatic transmission and shall come in either a front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive.
