The 2015 Ford Mustang promises to be the biggest player in the aftermarket segment. Hence, if you are a performance maniac willing to risk it all for a few extra horses, the upcoming Mustang is bound to appeal to your senses. Ford has recently announced a range of aftermarket performance tuning products that can be used safely on the 2015 Mustang, without voiding the warranty of the car. Music to our ears!
One of the basic components that users can purchase now would be the hand-tuned from companies such as SCT, DiabloSport, Superchips or any other company dealing in plug-in tuners for the upcoming pony car. While in most cases, these aftermarket tuners void the company’s warranty, Ford’s offer is bound to grab the American aftermarket performance mod lovers’ attention, who takes their vehicles very seriously!
Even though the details are scarce at the moment, we believe Ford will come up with additional details soon. However, this piece of information has taken the aftermarket performance tuners by surprise too, and the big names in the industry have already started chalking up their plans for the ultimate user experience of the 2015 Mustang owners. However, with a prototype yet to be showcased, the plans are currently being chalked out, and we will get back to you with additional details as soon as they are made available.
Ford Racing has further announced their involvement with the street-legal variant of the 2015 Mustang, raising the equation to a whole new level. Ford Racing is currently designing an engine block meant for the upcoming vehicle that is to be included in the street-spec variant of the car. To top it off, this engine block is a forced-induction EcoBoost!
Ford further mentions on their official website that the ProCal tuning system that is currently available for the 2004-2014 Mustang will soon be available on the 2015 Mustang too! Ford’s engineers have been tasked to extract the maximum possible power out of a cold air intake system and the company has revealed that they are moving on the right track so far, meaning that we could have an impending launch.
However, even though Ford has is yet to reveal their plans for the upcoming Focus and the Fiesta, the fanatics have started speculating the fate of the other two popular vehicles from the company. If Ford plans to approach both these vehicles the same way that they have dealt with the Mustang, we could see a sellout this New Year.
