The 100 Season 4 Witnesses the Grounders Uniting with the Sky People, Will Clarke Find Love Again?

CW confirmed The 100 Season 4 in March 2016 and in June, the network informed that the show would air in January 2017. While CW affirmed a January premiere of The 100 Season 4 they didn’t provide a premiere date.

CW is confirming the premiere dates for the different shows and fans are hopeful that they would do the same for Season 4 of The 100. Rumor suggests that Season 4 of The 100 is set to premiere on 21st January 2017. However, there isn’t any confirmation yet.

January 21st is the date on which Season 3 of The 100 had released and fans presumed that the upcoming season will release on the same date or a date close to it. Inquisitr reported that 21st January cannot be the date for the premiere of The 100 Season 4 since it is a Saturday.

CW never airs the premiere scripted shows on Saturday. If CW indeed brings out Season 4 on a Saturday, fans can be rest assured that the network doesn’t have any expectation from the new season.

Previously The 100 Season 4 would air on Wednesday or Thursday night. The timing made it clear that the show was a strong one for the midseason slot. There aren’t any upcoming series that might be a better contender to The 100 and would force it to a Saturday night slot.

CW president Mark Pedowitz informed that the network has made their strategies for the next year and are picking up 11 original series for the 2016-2017 slot. They have got together some high-quality shows that will launch in fall, in the midseason and also in the summer of 2017.

Den of Geek informed that the cast of The 100 is set to return for Season 4. Actors Bob Morley, Devon Bostick, Isiah Washington, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Eliza Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, and Richard Harmon.

The production is currently underway, and actors and crew members have shared numerous photos from the set. They are currently on location in the Vancouver wilderness. Showrunner Jason Rothenberg had informed during the San Diego Comic-Con that the viewers would get to meet new characters in the premiere’s open cold.

The showrunner has confirmed that the viewers will love one of the new characters introduced in the Season 4 open cold. This statement by Jason Rothenberg has created rumors that Chai Romruen might come back with a recurring role.

Rumors are suggesting that the actor might play the role of Ilan, a Grounder haunted by the horrors he committed under ALIE’s control. CW hasn’t released the plot for The 100 Season 4, but the fans got a teaser during the Comic-Con.

Season 3 of The 100 was the least consistent of all the seasons and faced criticism from the fans. Season 3 saw Rothenberg kill off Ricky Whittle’s Lincoln much to the shock of the viewers.

100 Season 4

Whittle landed a role in Starz’s American Gods, and Rothenberg wasn’t happy with the news. After that, he deliberately cut down on Whittle’s lines and part.

The 100 Season 4 will pick up from where the third season ended. Rothenberg teased Clarke’s decision and said that it would be similar to the one taken by her father on the Ark. Clarke is the only one aware of the fact that the world is ending. While she has informed Bellamy about it, she doesn’t know whether she should share it with the rest of the world.
