Tesla’s 100D Battery Will Be Important for the Model 3, Toyota Tries To Convert Tesla’s Reservation Holders!

In other news, besides Nissan and BMW, Toyota is the third company which is directly trying to convince the reservation holders of Tesla Model 3 to reject their pre-orders and opt for their cars instead. Well, it is difficult to blame them since Tesla created a pool of 400,000 potential buyers of a $35000 price tag electric vehicle.

These popular automakers want a piece of that cake. Back in April, Nissan tried its luck for the first time, just a few weeks after the Model 3 was unveiled to the public. The Japanese automaker ended up purchasing full-page ads in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.

The ad contained a message featuring a direct attack against Tesla. It wanted to know why people should wait when they can start driving a full-electric LEAF.

Moreover, it included that why should people give $1000 to stand in line when they can opt for the best-in-class range and also get $4000 back. Sadly, this ad campaign didn’t have the desired impact it was supposed to.

In other news, sources have claimed that BMW has a trio of new EV versions incoming and they are EV variants of some of the best mainstream gas models owned by the company.

Stay tuned for more updates on Tesla Model 3!
